The Patriarchate of the Greek Orthodox Church in Istanbul organized Christmas worship.
The ceremony began in the Church of Ayia Yorgi on Wednesday morning, December 25. The Christmas service was led by the Patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church in Istanbul Bartholomew.
Believers lit candles and made prayers to chants.
The event was attended by the Greeks living in Turkey and the Orthodox from other countries.
