The travel time from the Kagythan station, from where the 34-kilometer branch is laid, will take about 24 minutes to Istanbul Airport, said the head of the Turkish Ministry of Transport Adil Karasmailille.
According to him, the total length of the line with the connection of new stations will be 69 km. “We are creating a huge metro system, which by the end of the year will cover the entire European part of Istanbul,” he said to the Turkish media.
According to the head of the Ministry of Transport, in the future, the new metro branch will be integrated with a high -speed railway line.
