As Anadol reports with reference to the Assembly of Turkish Exporters (TIM), the volume of Turkish exports in May of this year increased by 14.4 percent compared to the same period of 2022 – up to 21 billion 651 million dollars.
At the same time, the export volume of Istanbul companies in May increased by 9 percent compared to the same period of 2022 – up to 8 billion 109 million dollars.
Further followed by Codzhaeli with 1 billion 437 million dollars, Bursa – 1 billion 435 million dollars, Izmir – 1 billion $ 299 million and Ankara – $ 1 billion 63 million.
In addition, during the reporting period, the metropolis became the leader in the rate of export building among the Turkish provinces – 667 million 106 thousand dollars. This is followed by Ankara with 288 million $ 599 thousand, Izmir – 256 million 929 thousand dollars, Bursa – 256 million 869 thousand dollars and Sakarya -148 million 313 thousand dollars.
At the same time, the volume of exports from the Sakarya in May amounted to 501 million 403 thousand dollars.
6 billion 906 million of dollars of $ 8 billion, dollars of exports, made in May of this year from Istanbul, is exported by industrial goods.
Export of industrial products from Istanbul in May grew by 7.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
In general, Istanbul exports of industrial products account for 44.8 percent of the total volume of foreign sales.
