The Foreign Minister of Turkey Hakan Fidan held on Friday a meeting with his Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov. This is stated in the message of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, published on the social network x.
The meeting took place in the fields of the third meeting of the platform of regional cooperation of the South Caucasus “3+3” in Istanbul.

Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that during the meeting, the parties discussed certain aspects of the practical interaction of Russia and Turkey on multilateral venues.
“The demand for the coordination of the steps of the two countries to promote regulation of regional conflicts, including in the Transcaucasia and the Middle East, has been confirmed. Actual issues of Russian-Turkish cooperation are raised, primarily in the trade and economic sphere. The schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts has been made,”– The message says.

The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministry of Turkey Hakan Fidan, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jahun Bayramov, the Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi and the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
