British Defense Minister Ben Wallace is a clear favorite among members of the conservative party for the role of the next prime minister. This is reported by Sky News.
According to the latest survey of the British company YouGov, Wallace is a clear favorite among Tory members for the role of the next leader.
Wallace defeats all the main applicants, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Liz Trans.
There are also among applicants – Penelope Mordont, Minister of Trade Policy, Rishi Sunak (until July 5 – head of the treasury), head of the special committee on health and social assistance to Jeremy Hunt.
Ben Wallace has been held by the Minister of Defense of Great Britain since 2019. Before that, from 2016, he served the position of younger Minister of Security. Until 2005, he served in the army with the rank of captain.
