Italy: Activity Of Etna Volcano Continues 11 February

Etna, one of the current volcanoes in Europe, continues to be active since February 8, 2025.

The volcano, located on the Italian island of Sicily, continues to erupt the lava from a crack on the southern slope of the crater called “Bokka Nuov (new mouth).”

The height of the crater is about 3300 meters.

According to the observatory at the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology Italy (INGV) in skating, special changes in the parameters of the volcano are not recorded.

It is noted that volcanic activity is normal, and this situation is a sign that Etna does not throw out excessive energy.

In addition, it is reported that there are no reasons for concern and the authorities are closely monitoring the development of events.

In the summer of 2024, on Mount Etna on the island of Sicily, which is the highest active volcano in Europe, volcanic activity was recorded, including strong eruptions in ash and lava.
