In Italy on Sunday, September 25, extraordinary elections to the country’s parliament began. Polling stations opened at 7 in the morning local time (9:00 Moscow time), the counting of votes will begin after their closure at 23:00. The elections will be held in both chambers of the parliament – the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. According to polls, the favorite is considered a legal actric coalition. In the event of her victory in Italy, the first government of the Right Forces will be formed after the end of World War II, reports Deutsche Welle.
The right part of the Italian Brothers, which is headed by George Melony, enjoys the greatest support (25 percent). The coalition also includes the “League of the North” Matteo Salvini, “Forward, Italy” Silvio Berlusconi and a small alliance of parties “We are moderate.”
In second place in popularity among parties, as polls showed, is the left “Democratic Party” (21.2 percent) Enrico Letta. As the AP agency notes, the democrats are in a disadvantage, since, unlike the right forces, they failed to create a single union.
