In the Sumgaita court for serious crimes, the trial over a resident of the Shemakhinsky district 37-year-old Shakir Dzhafarov, accused of the murder of his wife with particular cruelty.
According to haqqın.az, the incident occurred on October 1 last year in Shemakh. Shakira Dzhafarova, who returned home in a condition, no one opened the door, and the man had to climb over the fence to get into the house. Jafarov began to express dissatisfaction with his wife Sakina, who, by the way, had a cousin. She replied that she was busy and did not hear a knock on the door. Jafarov, enraged with such an answer, began to mercilessly beat his wife. Children fled to the noise, but the man continued to take his anger at Sakin. Shakir beat his wife for more than an hour, the woman died from injuries.
Shakiru Jafarova was charged under article 120.2.4 (murder committed with special cruelty or a generally hazardous way) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The man found himself guilty of charges, confirmed his testimony to the investigation and refused to testify in court. In his testimony, Jafarov said that he and Sakina loved each other and that they had four children. Although verbal skirmishes often arose between them, he rarely raised his hand to his wife. According to the man, on the ill -fated day he did not like how the wife answered him. “I grabbed her hand and led her out of the bathroom. He asked – how are you talking to me? I hit her in the face. I don’t remember how many strokes were inflated because I was drunk. Blood was going on from my mouth, and my hands were also in the blood.” . The eldest daughter begged her father to stop, but Shakir ignored her prayers.
“I said that perhaps you should call a doctor. My wife objected, saying that in this case they would arrest me. She said that she would go to bed and a headache would pass.” In the morning, Shakir found his wife’s lifeless body next to him. A man by taxi sent the children to his father, and he surrendered to the police. Jafarov added that he regrets the deed and that he had no intention to kill his wife.
