“in recent months there are some questions about contradictory moments about Azerbaijani-Iranian relations. Opinions on this occasion were made on both sides. We must look at it realistic.” This was announced to journalists by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.
He noted that disagreements may arise between any states, including the neighboring countries.
“It is not excluded. If disagreements arise, we try to find ways to solve them by dialogue in the framework of neighboring relations. This is the position of Azerbaijan,” said the head of department.
Bayramov also stressed that over the past few weeks he spent telephone conversations with Iranian colleague due to the issues mentioned.
“official and informal consultations took place on diplomatic channels. I believe that positive steps have already been made and continues in the future. I am sure that Iran-Azerbaijani relations, as before, will develop in a positive direction. We are like two neighboring countries , unite bonds. Together we can implement projects for the benefit of our peoples and states. ” – Stressed the head of department.
