Japan: Artificial Intelligence Is Used To Prevent Disasters For Earthquakes

In Tokyo, cameras using artificial intelligence systems to accelerate response during strong earthquakes and rapid detection of fires and collapse of buildings that can occur during the disaster.

According to Kyodo News, officials of the metropolitan prefecture of Tokyo reported that high -clay cameras were installed in the prefecture building, on the bridge near the Tokyo Gulf and at certain points in the west of the city.

Officials said that the system supported by artificial intelligence checks images from cameras to determine the presence of smoke or damage to buildings.

The authorities emphasized that the system is also able to provide instant information to the police and the fire service so that they can react faster to natural disasters.
