Japan launched satellite of remote probing of Earth

Japan successfully launched a satellite of the Alos-4 remote sensing on the new H3 launch vehicle. This is stated in the message of the Japanese Aerospace Research Agency (JAXA).

The launch was made on July 1 from the Cosmodrome Tanegasima in the south-west of Japan.

ALOS-4 will be used to collect land data that will be used to respond to natural disasters and cartographs.

The satellite is equipped with an infrared sensor developed by the Ministry of Defense of Japan. It is designed to observe military activity, such as missile launches.

The new device is a more advanced version of ALOS-2.
