Lockheed Martin – one of the manufacturers of portable anti -tank missile systems (PTRK) Javelin – announced plans to double the production of this weapon. This was stated by the head of the company Jim Tyklet in an interview with CBS.
Thus, the production of weapons will increase to four thousand units per year.
Taecle noted that the process can take from several months to two years. He indicated that at present the company purchases the necessary tools, is working with suppliers and finances the expansion of production. The company also clarified that they are not afraid that the conflict in Ukraine, where Washington is now supplies, Javelin will end and the weapons produced will be unclaimed.
