Today, in the framework of the 9th Ministerial Conference “The Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process” in the city of Dushanbe, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jayhun Bayramov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic Pakistan Shaha Mahmoud Gureashi.
As reported by Haqqın.Az in the press service of the Foreign Ministry, at the meeting the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, including the prospects for cooperation between the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Pakistani companies, bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
Stressing the importance of expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the economic sphere, the parties emphasized the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Trade and Economic Commission in Baku.
Ministers also noted the importance of the development of inter-parliamentary bonds. During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on other issues of mutual interest.
