In the framework of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CIS Foreign Ministers, the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, second-April, met with the head of the foreign policy department of Kyrgyzstan Ruslana Kazakbayev.
As the HAQQın.az reported in the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, the ministers exchanged views on the expansion and deepening of the existing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. The importance of mutual visits to develop cooperation was emphasized.
Discusing the prospects for the development of bilateral economic relations, ministers in this context noted the importance of holding the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his colleague on the results of the 44-day Patriotic War, the current situation in the region, as well as the measures taken to implement tripartite statements.
Parties stressed the importance of continuing political consultations between the foreign policy agencies of the two countries.
The meeting also discussed issues of continuing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan within international organizations and other issues of mutual interest.
