The new procedure for the Votum of Trust Prime Minister Britain Boris Johnson among deputies of the ruling conservative party can take place next week, Bloomberg reports with reference to sources.
According to sources, in the evening of July 6, a meeting of the parliamentary committee of 1922 will be held, uniting ordinary parliamentarians of the Tory, which will discuss the issue of changing party rules for a new vote on Johnson’s trust. In the event that the necessary majority of deputies vote for changes, repeated voting may take place next week.
In early June, most members of the Tori parliamentary faction expressed support to the Prime Minister: 211 deputies spoke to remain the head of the conservative party, and 148 against. Earlier, Johnson said that he did not know about the investigation about sexual harassment, which had begun in relation to the former parliamentary organizer Chris Pincher in 2019. Then it became known that the Prime Minister was aware of this, but still appointed Pincher for this position.
