Joint Alliance Of Famous Football Clubs For Fighting Climate Change Was Created On Fields Of COP29

as part of the 29th conference of the parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the Alliance of famous football clubs in the world to combat climate change. “

Alliance, created with the support of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the joint efforts of the Azerbaijani football club Karabakh and the Association of European Clubs, was represented at the COP29 site in Baku.

The alliance included such famous football clubs as Liverpool and Tottenham (England), Atletico Madrid and Real Betis (Spain), Podneza (Italy), Porto (Portugal), Flamengo (Brazil), “Malmo” (Sweden), as well as Turkish clubs “Galatasaray” and “Fenerbahch”.

A specially invited guest of the event was the famous football coach Fatikh Tim.

The participants in the event signed a declaration of creating an alliance of football clubs to combat climate change.

The clubs joining the alliance undertake to pay more attention to climate issues and implement the relevant projects.
