Journalists are protesting in Armenian parliament: “All arrows lead to one person”

Armenian journalists organized a protest action in the country’s parliament and demanded a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Representatives of the media were intended to raise the issue of restricting their professional activities in the National Assembly.

Armenian media write that the protection of the parliament urged them to stop the action, but they refused, referring to the fact that their shares are not hazarded, not politicized and is carried out to protect the rights of journalists. “We demand a meeting with Nikol Pashinyan, so that he come and answered our question: why are it expelled from parliament? This is our workplace, and you cannot withdraw us from here,” said one of the participants of the promotion.

Journalists noted that they had already met with the speaker of the parliament by Alain Simonian, but it did not bring results. “All arrows lead to one person. We understand that these restrictions in our respect were introduced on behalf or call Nikola Pashinyan. And now we are trying to attract his attention,” said one of the journalists.
