Turkey cooperates with Qatar and the United States on the management of the airport in the Afghan capital, the city of Kabul, Turkey Foreign Minister Mevlyut Chavushoglu said.
“We work with Qabula Airport Management and United States. Currently, airplanes can take off and land at the airport. Some airlines have already resumed flights,” the Turkish minister said in an interview with NTV TV channel.
According to Chavushoglu, the Taliban can provide security outside the Kabul airport, but safety inside it should guarantee “a security company or one or two states that the international community trusts.” The Turkish Foreign Minister also added that “7 Turkish technicians continue to work at Kabul airport.”
