Georgia “will not be included in the war” against Russia and will not intervene in the Russian-Ukrainian war. This was stated by the mayor of Tbilisi and the Secretary General of the ruling party “Georgian Dream” Kakha Kaladze, noting that he “welcomes” an increase in the influx of tourists in Georgia.
“We have repeatedly stated that Georgia does not start the war, does not include in the war, and in Georgia there will be no second front in the war in Ukraine. Georgia also does not join the sanctions. We are welcoming the influx of tourists, I do not see any problems”, – said Kaladze, reports news-group.
At the same time, Kaladze emphasized that if individuals or companies that fall under international sanctions against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine try to promote operations in Georgia, then this will follow the “proper answer” under the legislation of the country and the Constitution.
