Any agreement on the world in Ukraine will not work without the participation of the EU and Ukraine itself. This was stated by a high representative of the European Union (EU) KAYA Kallas on Monday, February 24.
In this regard, Kallas said that on Tuesday, on February 25, he was going to the United States to meet with the State Secretary Marco Rubio and “discuss these and other issues, since it is extremely important.”
“No agreement will work without us. You can discuss anything with (President of the Russian Federation) Putin anything, but if it concerns Europe or Ukraine, we must also participate in the process of agreement,” the EU representative said.
In this regard, she said that she was going to the United States tomorrow to meet with the State Secretary Marco Rubio and “discuss these and other issues, since it is extremely important.”
According to Callas, “it is important that we maintain unity” during a meeting with the American side of other EU and European leaders.
