Prosecutor General said that these claims were manifested in criminal acts against statehood and sovereignty of Azerbaijan:
“From the moment of independence, when a document on the ceasefire was signed, criminal acts continued with other methods. The events that lasted more than 34 years took place in Azerbaijan.”
Foreign Deputy Minister Elnur Mammadov said that Azerbaijan appealed to a number of international instances in order to hold Armenia accountable for crimes committed by Armenia both in the first Karabakh war and the period of ceasefire and during the Second Karabakh war.
He said that first of all in 2020, such an appeal was made to the European Court of Human Rights and the International Court of the UN:
“Crime – Armenia Ming -installed in sovereign and international recognized territories of Azerbaijan continues. These cases are under consideration. Currently, the court has sent procedural issues in Armenia and Azerbaijan in connection with accusations. The answers to these questions will be given in the near future. In Armenia, there are groups that incite the hatred of Azerbaijan, which are not only not held accountable to the Armenian government, but are also awarded the Ministry of Defense of Armenia and other institutions. Recently, in September, the court was presented with the failure of the Armenia of their obligations. Detection of 1400 minutes in Lacina and Lachina and Other facts are also presented to the court. These facts prove that Armenia continues to commit crimes. “
