May 1-4, Kapital Bank took part in the global annual meeting of the Association of Banks for Finance and Trade (BAFT), a subsidiary of the American Banking Association. The global annual meeting is the first living event of BAFT since the beginning of the pandemic.
In the event, Kapital Bank was presented in the person of the adviser to the chairman of the board of international relations of Vugar Sadig and the head of the technological decisions of Farid Samedov. Farid Samedov is also a member of the BAFT future leaders program, the purpose of which is to identify and support the development of talented leaders in the constantly transforming banking industry.
This year, the global BAFT meeting, organized in hybrid uniforms – both virtually and in person in Washington, the District of Colombia, was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the organization. The event was remembered by the speeches of international experts, sessions on various topics and bilateral meetings for the exchange of views between participants. On the agenda there were topics such as the global economy and the future of labor spheres, digitalization and technology, new challenges that affect the world economy and its stability, environmental, social and corporate governance and other questions.
