Kapital Bank in accordance with its social policy supported a new project to detect and neutralizing mines on the territories liberated from occupation. Thus, the Bank contributed to the efforts to demining in the decoiled lands of Azerbaijan.
In the framework of the project on August 26, 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding with the participation of the Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Agency for Demining Vugar Suleimanova and President of the Heritage Institute Marshall (MLI) Perry Baltimore was signed. According to the Memorandum, by 2023, 30 specially trained dogs will be delivered to Azerbaijan from the United States.
Attached at the signing ceremony, the adviser to the Chairman of the Board of Kapital Bank on international bonds of Vugar Sadig spoke about the importance of participation in the project and wished four-legged sappers success in their difficult work. One of the dogs Kapital Bank symbolically called Birinci (“First”), she will be a special collar with the name of the bank.
Before the event, August 25, representatives of MLI, Anama and other organizers visited 10 people who were delivered to Fizuli in detail with the conditions of their content, feeding and further organizational issues.
