The Turkish portable rotor-wing shock UAV KARGU, developed by STM, successfully struck a target armored vehicle in the first test shot with its armor-piercing warhead.
According to STM, a company that carefully monitors changes in the battlefields and quickly develops solutions, integrated armor -piercing warheads in KarGU, a national shock UAV, developed on domestic facilities and effectively used in the fight against terrorism.
Armor -piercing Kargu, which went out onto the battlefield after the intensive stage of development, in the first testing shot with full accuracy struck the intended target. Armor -piercing Kargu, equipped with armor -piercing ammunition, during the first test shot ducked into an armored vehicle appointed as a goal, and destroyed it with high accuracy.
– effective use in the fight against terrorism
Kargu’s shock UAV, also known in public opinion as BPP Kamikadze, was developed by STM at domestic and national facilities. Kargu, who received the Turkish Armed Forces in 2018, is effectively used by various power structures of Turkey, especially Turkish armed forces, in the fight against terrorism, special operations and cross -border operations.
The first export success of Kargu was achieved in 2021. As of 2024, it was exported to more than 10 countries on three different continents. To date, more than 5 thousand kargu has been produced.

Kargu is difficult to detect due to the low area of the transverse section of the radar. It can be easily postponed by one military and set in the area of the task within 1 minute. The Kargu National shock UAVs provides a significant effect of surprise and prompt superiority due to the possibilities of artificial intelligence and image processing, noiselessness and ability to deliver explosives exactly at the target.
Kargu, consisting of a stroke diamond UAV and a ground -based control station, can perform effective daily and night operations using advanced electro -optical and infrared chambers. KarGU flight range, which can be in the air for more than 30 minutes, is 10 kilometers. Kargu, which has the possibilities of canceling, returning and self -destruction, is equipped with high -performance navigation and management algorithms. In addition to the technology of cereal UAVs, which allows KARGU to act in the swarm, there is also a Kerkes project that allows them to work regardless of GPS.
