Kazakhstan and the European Union launched negotiations on simplifying visa procedures. This was announced by the International Special EU ACPLICE DAVID O’SALLINVA at a press conference following his visit to Kazakhstan, Kazinform reports.
O’SALSAVAN, first of all, noted the active development of the EU relations with Kazakhstan.
“We are important partners. The EU is the largest trading partner of Kazakhstan and the largest source of direct foreign investment. We have also established a very important strategic partnership. In the framework of this partnership, we also develop and take into account, which is now being advanced now, on economic cooperation between the EU and Kazakhstan, ”said the EU special substitute.
He also spoke about the work in the field of liberalization of the visa regime.
“It is also gratifying to note that we were able to launch negotiations on simplifying visa procedures, which in turn will contribute to the further strengthening of our cooperation,” O’Sullivan added.
