Kazakhstan And Morocco Entered Into An Agreement On Visa -free Regime

Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African cooperation and Moroccans abroad of the Kingdom of Morocco Nassero Burita signed an agreement on exemption from visa requirements.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the meeting of Nurtleu and Burita took place on the fields of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The ministers discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations in the political, economic, economic, investment and cultural and humanitarian spheres.

“According to the results of the negotiations, the parties signed an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the Kingdom of Morocco on the exemption from visa requirements for owners of national/universal passports. This agreement is aimed at facilitating the movement of citizens of both countries and contributes to the further strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries”, – says in the message.

In accordance with the agreement, citizens of Kazakhstan and Morocco are exempted from visa requirements for entry, departure, transit and temporary stay in each other on the basis of real national/general passports. The duration of each period of stay should not exceed 30 calendar days for each period of 180 days from the date of entry.

The agreement will enter into force after 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of the last written notice by diplomatic channels on the completion of the necessary domestic procedures.

Earlier, the Kazakh government, by resolution of August 14, 2024, approved an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Thailand kingdom of the Kingdom of Kingdom on the exemption of national passports from the visa requirements.
