Kazakhstan and the Netherlands signed nine commercial agreements aimed at developing bilateral relations in areas such as an agro -industrial complex, healthcare, ecology, transport and logistics, Kazinform reports.
The signing ceremony was held in Astana with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kazakhstan and JSC NK Kazakh Invest. “
So, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and the Dutch company Viscon signed a memorandum of understanding of the implementation of the project for the construction of an automated center for the production of planting material (free from viruses) using artificial intelligence.
The project will help to improve the stability, quality and yield of cultivated plants, as well as ensuring food security.
In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture signed a document to improve the veterinary system in Kazakhstan with Royal GD. The project implies the modernization of the veterinary system of the Ministry of Agriculture, which in turn will ensure the quality control of livestock products according to international standards and create conditions for the export of domestic products to Western markets.
Memorandum of cooperation in the production of medical devices in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan was signed between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Royal Philips.
In addition, other agreements in the field of the phytosanitary system, telemedicine, fishing, etc. were signed.
“Such agreements indicate that political and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands is expanding. And I hope that in the future we will also see this growth,” said the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Kazakhstanan Nico Cermers.
