Kazakhstan And Qatar Are Developing Cooperation In Fight Against Crime

Kazakhstan and Qatar signed an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the fight against crime.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic, led by Minister Yerzhan Sadenov, made a visit to Dochu, the capital of Qatar.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Caliph Bin Hamad Al Tanya.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for interacting in the fight against crime, including opposing organized forms of crime, drug trafficking, extremism, cybercrime, as well as cooperation in the field of searching for advanced practitioners.

The main result of the visit was the signing of an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the fight against crime, held in the fields of the 15th International Security Exhibition “Milipol Qatar – 2024”.

This agreement opens up a new stage of Kazakh-Catarrian relations in the law enforcement sphere, forming a legal basis for in-depth interaction and coordination of efforts in the field of security.
