In Kazakhstan, they will launch an interest -free loan for higher education. On Wednesday, July 24, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, reports Kazinform.

According to the minister, this practice is used in the USA and by the end of the year will be available to Kazakhstani applicants.

The Ministry is already working on this issue with several second -level banks and the financial center, the preparation of the bill is at the completion stage.

A similar tool is not the only one that the department is planning to introduce to increase the availability of higher education in the country.

Sayasat Nurbek emphasized that in addition to an interest-free loan, Kazakhstanis can use the “National Fund” program using the savings.

The Ministry will also launch the Keleshki program, within the framework of which the parents of applicants can independently raise funds for training using start -up capital from the state and banks.

“and the fourth tool is differentiated grants. This year, the project was piloted as part of the distribution of grants. If the child received a good score, but his chosen specialty has a high competition – it happens that we have 100 points and 115 points They don’t get a grant, because a very high competition and the child falls out, then we are ready 75 percent, 50 percent to give such grants additionally, ”the minister said.

Earlier, Mazhilis Askhat Aimagametov, deputy of the program for the training of Kazakhstani students in leading universities in the world – Bolashak (International Educational School of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev). The winners of the Olympiads and contests of scientific projects will be able to participate in it under the undergraduate program.
