The Russian media, referring to the Association of International Automobile Carriers, said that Kazakhstan began to detain Russian trucks with goods from Europe.
It is specified that about eight car trains are stuck in the country.
“At the moment, we know about eight cases of the detention of car trains of Russian carriers. At the same time, some of them are on parking lots for violators. The storage is very expensive there. Another part of the trucks is on customs terminals, some are generally directly on the road. All documents were seized from drivers, so they cannot leave, ”said the representative of the association.
According to the media, we are talking about transit transportation of European goods. From the countries of the European Union, these goods follow the border of Belarus, and then to Kazakhstan. In turn, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation noted that Astana introduced “unreasonable requirements.”
