The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan denied rumors about the country’s withdrawal from the Customs Union of the Eurasian Economic Union, Gazeta.ru reports.
“Information about the plans of Kazakhstan is not true,” the press service of the Ministry of Trade of Kazakhstan said.
Rumors about Kazakhstan’s withdrawal from an agreement on the Customs Union were distributed in social networks – it was argued that Kazakhstan was leaving the agreement due to external pressure, while the country would threaten the loss of favorable trade interaction with Russia and China.
