The junior team of Kazakhstan on fencing on the sword won a gold medal at the stage of the World Cup in Manam (Bahrain), the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan reports.
In team competitions, Kazakhstan was presented by Nurzhan Abzhanov, Alexey Kasatkin, Gabidin Mustafin, Kirill of Passage.
In the quarterfinals, Kazakh spitters turned out to be stronger than Saudi Arabia, winning 45.36. Then, in 1/2, Kazakhstanis defeated China – 45.25.
