Kazakhstan introduced a ban on the removal of gasoline and diesel fuel by road and railway transport.
The Minister of Energy, the Chairman of the KNB, the Minister of Finance and the Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs made appropriate changes to the joint order “On some issues of the export of oil products from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, Zakon.kz reports.
“to introduce a ban on export from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the EAEU member state, by road of gasoline, diesel fuel and certain types of oil products,” the text says.
According to the document, the ban on the removal of raw materials by rail will be valid from February 1, 2025 to March 29, 2025. At the same time, the ban does not apply to the export of petroleum products, sold in accordance with planned supplies, as well as in the framework of the provision of humanitarian assistance provided to eliminate the consequences of natural disasters, accidents or disasters.
The Ministry of Energy noted that these measures have been taken in order to avoid fuel and lubricants in the country’s domestic market.
