Kazakhstan in August will import gasoline of the AI-95 brand from Russia. This was announced by Vice, Minister of Energy of the Republic, Yerlan Akkenzhenov.
“Due to the indicative balances that were signed between the two ministries this year, we have imported 45 thousand tons of gasoline AI -95 brand. At the moment, the relevant contracts are concluded by subsidiaries of our national oil and gas company KazMUNAIGAZ, and imports will be carried out in the month of August. The first import will be in the region of 19 thousand tons, but it will most likely be a couple of months – a one -time action. In general, as I said, in October we will begin the production of 95th gasoline at the capacities of the Shymkent oil refinery ” , – said Akkenzhenov, whose words are quoted by Kazinform.
Vice Minister specified that import will be carried out at the end of August.
“This is, of course, you know what a transport traffic jam that arises on the border between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation in two directions, because the roads are loaded very strongly not only with oil products, but also by other goods,” added Akkenshenov.
