Kazakhstan intends to simplify cargo transportation with Uzbekistan as part of the pilot project. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan.
“In order to further simplify the issuance of Uzbekistan permits, a project of a joint order of ministers of transport, finance and digital development, innovation and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the implementation of the pilot project for the issuance of Uzbek forms of permits was developed,” the statement said.
The pilot project provides for the issuance of permits of the type of “third country” from April 2024 in electronic form at the checkpoints of Atameken, B. Konysbaeva, Kazygurt, Kaplanbek and is close.
The department noted that the acceptance of applications for electronic permits to domestic carriers will be carried out by the territorial bodies of the Committee of the State Revenue of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan through an automated system of electronic queue Cargoruqsat if there is a necessary list of documents.
This mechanism will allow conscientious carriers to simplify cargo transportation with the Republic of Uzbekistan and exclude speculation with places in the queue and transfer of permits to third parties.
Kazakhstani carriers calling to Uzbekistan through the territory of Kazakhstan will receive Uzbek permits in electronic form at the checkpoints.
Kazakhstani carriers calling to Uzbekistan without transit through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan can receive Uzbek permits through the Electronic Government portal in accordance with the requirements of the Rules for the Rules for the Processing System of International Automobile Transportation in the Republic.
