Kazakhstan: International Exercises “Birlestik-2024” Continue

In the Kazakhstan city of Aktau, the international operational-tactical command and staff exercises “Birlestik-2024” continued, which started on July 12th.

The exercises are carried out in accordance with the joint plan signed between the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The format of conducting a exercise with the involvement of military contingents from the Armed Forces of the four countries of the Central Asian region and the Republic of Azerbaijan is applied for the first time.

Kazakhstan Minister, Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov, introduced his colleagues from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with the educational capabilities of the entrusted military units and the conditions of the exercise.

The military leadership of the countries participating in the international operational-tactical command and staff exercises “Birlestіk-2024” arrived at the Oymash training training ground.

The representatives first familiarized themselves with the conditions created at the training ground for the participants in the exercises. An inspection of the location of the foreign military contingent and the dining room was carried out.

Then the military personnel of the Azerbaijani army, involved in the exercises, demonstrated a trench battle, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reports.

delegations of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan arrived at the command and control point.

After providing detailed information on the process of training participants in the exercises, on the map and through video conferences, reports on events performed during the exercises were heard.

At the end, the guests observed the tactical episode of international teachings “Birlestik-2024”.

The tasks of destroying illegal armed detachments in conditions of limited visibility were carried out by participants in the exercises with high professionalism.
