In the Western region, from July 8 to July 17, the operational-tactical command and staff teaching “Birlestik-2024” will be held. Military teaching will take place at the Oymash training ground and two kilometers from Cape Tokmak, where one of its key episodes will be played.
The department noted that military contingents of the participating countries arrived in the sides of military transport aircraft. “To participate in the teachings of Azerbaijan, he sent guard and medium -sized landing ships, and Uzbekistan – army aviation helicopters. About 4 thousand military personnel and up to 700 weapons and military equipment will be involved in the teaching. Tactical episodes will be played with the participation of ground and air intelligence groups, marine special forces, crews of army and front -line aviation, warships and boats, artillery calculations, assault and tank units.
As part of the exercise, cultural, leisure and sporting events will also take place. There will be competitions in military-applied sports, tactical orientation “Bagar” and army tactical shooting.
