At the “Coast” training ground, the Almaty region, a ceremony of opening the command and staff exercises with the peacekeeping forces of the Organization of Collective Security (CSTO) “I Incorrect Brotherhood-2024” took place. The exercises involved national contingents of the peacekeeping forces of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, operational groups of the United Staff and the CSTO Secretariat.

Turning to the participants in the exercises, the Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO Taalantbek Masadykov noted that the territory of Central Asia traditionally attracts the attention of the global military-political participants of the emerging world order.
“The large logistics capabilities of the region, combined with mineral reserves, create conditions for constant rivalry of superpower and political instability, including the spread of radical extremism and the increase in the terrorist threat. The command and staff of the “Inexperienced Brotherhood-2024” is held under the leadership of the commander of the landing and heaps of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, Major General Almaz Dzhumakeev. In total, more than 2000 military personnel, 500 units of armored and automobile equipment, Mi-17, Mi-35, IL-76, SI-295 aircraft and unmanned aviation were involved in the exercises.
During the peacekeeping operation, the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO will perform educational and combat tasks on checkpoints and refugee reception points, when accompanied by columns and goods with humanitarian aid.
