The attack of Ukrainian drones on the oil pumping station of the Caspian pipeline consortium (KTK) in the Krasnodar Territory is Ukraine’s response to negotiations between the United States and Russia, in turn the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
He reminded that oil is transported by the KTK pipeline, which is produced in Kazakhstan by agreement on the division of products between Kazakhstan and participants in this consortium, which includes mainly foreign shareholders (American companies, Exxonmobil, as well as a number of European companies) .
NPS “Kropotkinskaya”, located in the Caucasian district of the Kuban, is the largest oil pumping station KTK in the Russian Federation.
KTK pipeline system is one of the largest projects in the energy sector in the CIS.
The length of the Tengiz -Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. On this route, more than two thirds of all export oil of Kazakhstan, as well as raw materials from Russian deposits, including those located in the Caspian, are transported along this route.
The KTK marine terminal is equipped with three remote mooring devices (IP), which allows you to safely load tankers at a considerable distance from the coast.
