The Kazakhstan city of Aktau was declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2025. It is reported by Culture.akipress.org with reference to the International Organization of Turkic Culture (Turks).
The project starts on April 5 and will last until November. Especially for a cultural event, ethrodoks will be built, where 7 villages will be located – these villages will present the culture and traditions of the Turkic peoples. According to preliminary data, about 500 artists will be involved in the opening of the festival.
In turn, the Secretary General of Turks Sultan Raev noted that Aktau is unique among the previous cultural capital of what is located on the shores of the Caspian Sea.
Meanwhile, the akim of the Mangustau region Nurdaulet Kilybai emphasized the importance of a large -scale event and added that everything will pass at a high level.
