The famous Japanese footballer Keisuke Honda arrived in Baku this morning.
He is expected to sign a contract with Baku’s Neftchi in the near future.
The 34-year-old Honda is known for his performances for CSKA Moscow and Milan, Italy. Also in his track record are such teams as Nagoya Grampus (Japan), Venlo (Holland), Pachuca (Mexico), Melbourne Victory (Australia), Vitesse (Holland), Botofogo ( Brazil). On account of Honda 98 caps for the Japanese national team. He competed in the 2010, 2014 and 2018 World Championships.
In August 2018, Honda, continuing his playing career, became the head coach of the Cambodia national team, which is often led remotely.
