Having greeted the guest, Colonel General K. Vereiev noted the development of cooperation between the armies of both countries that accelerated this year. It was emphasized that the mutual visits of military delegations and the exchange of experience contributed to the further expansion of ties between our armies.
Colonel General K. Vereiev emphasized the greatest significance given by Azerbaijan to the development of military ties with Kazakhstan, noting that these issues are under the close attention of the president of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
It was noted that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan collaborate both in double -sided format and within the framework of international organizations, demonstrating mutual support on all issues. It was emphasized that the events taking place in the international arena, the situation in the regions of both countries and new challenges dictate the need to strengthen bilateral relations.
In turn, the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed satisfaction with a visit to Azerbaijan and thanked for a warm welcome. Lieutenant General M. Khusainov expressed the interest of Kazakhstan in the development of military cooperation with Azerbaijan, noting that this meets the interests of both countries.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, noting the broad potential for its further development.
