One of the most active volcanoes in the world, Kilauea in Hawaii continues to erupt the lava.
According to the US Geological Service (USGS), the volcano reached the fifteenth phase of the eruption.
It is noted that after the eruptions in the northern vent of the crater with intervals of 5 to 10 minutes, the southern vent was also activated.
According to the service, the flows of lava from two groats cover about 5 percent of the bottom of the crater, while the height of the lava pillars reaches 50 to 100 meters.
Since December 2024, the Kilauea volcano erupted Lava in a total of 15 times.
The shortest of these eruptions lasted 13 hours, the longest – 8 days.
