A preliminary investigation was completed in the criminal case of a 31-year-old resident of the Agniyu district Asif Manafov, who is accused of killing an 18-year-old girl in a rural cemetery, perfect 5 years ago.
According to haqqın.az, the materials of the criminal case are sent for consideration by the Shekinsky court for serious crimes. The case is conducted by Judge Nakhid Mirzoev. The preparatory court session is scheduled for July 15.
The murder occurred on January 28, 2017 at the cemetery of the village of Garahashly, the Azuinsky district. Manafov quarreled in a cemetery with Aishen Gahramanova, with whom he had close relations. During the conflict, the man stabbed Gahramanov with a knife. He later buried the body near the Shirvan Canal.
On March 19, Manafov was detained. He was charged under article 120.1 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code.
As a result of investigative actions and operational -search measures carried out by police and prosecutors, residents of the city of AGSU Bilal Veliev and Arif Manafov (father Asif Manafov – ed.) were also detained.
The investigation established that they helped the killer to bury the body in the village of Kengerly Kurdamir district.
During the inspection of the specified site, the remains of the body and clothing of Aishen Gahramanova were discovered and seized.
