The trial in the criminal case of the Navda Babayeva, accused of murdering her husband ended. At a meeting in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, a sentence was read.
The court retrained the article of Criminal Code 120.1 (intentional murder), which was accused by S. Babayev, in Article 123 of the Criminal Code (murder with an excess of the limit of the necessary self-defense).
According to this article, S. Babaeva was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment. In connection with the act of amnesty adopted in Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Victory Day, she was released in the courthouse.
We note that the prosecutor’s office of the Garadagh district received information that on April 21 at about 20:00 on the territory of the village of Lokbatan Elvina Panah oglu Askerzade caused knife wounds, as a result of which he died.
During the preliminary investigation, reasonable suspicions appeared in the fact that E. Oskerzade knife wounds on the basis of conflict inflicted his spouse of the Navda Rasim Gyza Babayev.
