King of Great Britain Charles III sent a congratulatory message to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic.
“On this special day, on the century from the day of the founding of your country, I express the most sincere congratulations to your Excellency and the people of the Turkish Republic,” the message says.
King Charles noted that he loves the hospitality that he encountered during his visit to Turkey in 2015.
“I would also like to express my deep admiration for the stamina of the Turkish people and their ongoing efforts to restore after earthquakes that occurred in February this year and led to huge destruction,” the British monarch noted.
King Charles wished Great Britain and Turkey to continue further partnership and friendship.
“I am sure that these positive relations will continue to go deeper and become even stronger,” he said.
