Kosovo authorities banned entry of cars with Serbian numbers

In Pristan, they decided to ban the entry of cars with Serbian numbers into the territory of Kosovo.

This was announced on January 14 by the press secretary of the Government of Kosovo Perparim Crusia.

The authorities of Kosovov decided to take such a step after the police detained the three special forces of the republic in Serbia. In Belgrade, they were called the “Kurti terrorists”.

Last year, the conflict worsened when Protina demanded that Kosovo Serbs change old car numbers for local ones. In protest, people erected barricades, after which the authorities of Kosovo postponed the introduction of new rules.

In November, an agreement was reached on the issue of Serbian numbers to avoid escalation of the conflict. In accordance with the agreement, Belgrade stopped issuing license plates with the codes of Kosovo cities, and School refused to re -register cars with Serbian numbers.
