In Russia in the last year, the number of migrants was significantly reduced, and now they are not even enough to implement ambitious projects. This was stated by the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Sadkov.
“… In fact, there were very few migrants in our last year. And we are very few of these migrants, it is very, very lacking for the realization of ambitious plans,” quotes the TASS representative of the Kremlin.
Peskov explained that it comes to projects in the field of construction: “We have to build more than we build now. Must build more noticeable. But for this we need working hands. They have become less because of the pandemic.”
Peskov added that migrants are needed in agriculture: “Therefore, a certain deficit in migrants is definitely there.”
