Kremlin allowed Hungary not to pay for gas in winter

The Hungarian State Energy Trade of MOV agreed to postpone payments under the gas contract with Gazprom the coming winter, Bloomberg reports with reference to the company’s statement.

Hungary, buying in Russia 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas annually and covers more than 80% of its gas imports at the expense of Gazprom, agreed in the summer on additional supplies for 700 million cubic meters.
