Russia, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other departments, continues contacts with Turkey and the UN of grain transaction. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov, the Russian media write.
“Contacts with the Turkish side, as well as with the UN, continue to be the diplomatic and other departments,” he told reporters.
The press secretary of the head of Russia did not name the condition of Moscow to continue the grain transaction. “Not ready to answer this question yet, it is difficult,” Dmitry Peskov answered the question.
He added that the implementation of a grain transaction without Russia is unlikely to be possible, it will become more risky. “In conditions when Russia speaks of the impossibility of guaranteeing the safety of shipping in these areas, of course, such a deal is hardly implemented, it acquires a different character, much more risky, dangerous and unmarried,” said the Kremlin spokesman.
Dmitry Peskov noted that Russia will continue the supply of grain to Africa after leaving the transaction, but it will be necessary to work out how exactly.
